Scena was established in 1986, bringing together a team of highly skilled technicians and craftsmen with the ability to produce a high standard of specialist workmanship.
For over 30 years, we have targeted and operated within four main business sectors; theatre, exhibitions, television & conferences and museums & visitor centres. Our office team is divided into four specialist departments, meaning we are able to provide our clients with resources that are tailored specifically to the needs of their project.
A wealth of experience
Scena can draw on a wealth of experience and talent to successfully produce and deliver an array of different projects, be it a scale reproduction of a renowned film set or installing a temporary exhibition at Kensington Palace. We operate in an industry where a combination of meeting deadlines, quality of finish and staying within budget are essential.
Scena is well known for providing that little extra attention to detail and sense of pride in its finished product. This, combined with a transparent management approach to all our projects, has established us as a market leader within the industry.
In terms of project management, we offer a wide range of services from basic scenery contractor to principal exhibition contractor. As well as management, we have an in-house draughting team who can produce detailed technical drawings (using CAD software) for even the most creative designs.
Located approximately 30 minutes from the centre of London, our workshop floor capacity of some 55,000 square feet accommodates over 100 tradesmen. A further 44,000 square feet of storage space is used to store sets and scenery for re-use on further productions. In addition, Scena has 28,000 square feet of space which is used to pre‐assemble all our projects prior to them being taken to site.
