was established in 1985, making this year our
25th Anniversary.
The idea at the time, of bringing together all the trades required for producing high quality scenery and then grouping them all together on a massive 2.5 acre site, right in centre of London, was innovative.
Our workshop and studio floor capacity of some 35,000 sq ft accommodates over 100 tradesmen & women. The diverse range of skills available to us at a moments notice ranges from carpenters, engineers and paint sprayers to Scenic artists, prop makers and CNC operators.
We have the ability and space to pre-assemble even the largest of sets for clients to view prior to shipping. It is not unusual to see an entire west end show fully assembled in our setting out shops and having the finishing touches applied under the watchful eye of the show's designer.
A further 32,000 sq ft of storage space is used to store client's scenery for reuse on further productions.
Our management services range from standard scenery contracting to principal contractor, including Heath & Safety and C.D.M management. Our production managers all have many years experience to call upon and are backed up further by a team of CAD operators, structural engineers and production staff.

We offer services of timber, metal fabrication, specialist decorating and paint finishes. We also specialise in area's such as Sculpture, Scenic Painting, Drapes, Modelling, Plastics, Signage, Graphics, Audio Visual, and Lighting.
Scena can draw on a wealth of talent. We can supply anything from large sophisticated computer operated systems that are capable of touring the world to smaller, but just as important, provincial theatre sets.
